Te'Amir is an acclaimed Los Angeles-based drummer and producer who tours and records with soul singer, Aloe Blacc. As a drummer who has trained in various Afro-diasporic rhythms, he has played with many of the musicians who have crafted LA's unique brand of hip-hop, beatmaking, jazz, and soul including: Sa-Ra Creative Partners, Kamasi Washington, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Wondem, Kadhja Bonet, and Ethio-Cali, among others. As a producer, he has self-released four albums, a Mulatu Astatke remix for Mochilla called "Timeless Remixed: Yekermo Sew," and most recently, produced the vinyl release "Anahata" for rapper SETI X and "Tiger Breaks" , a 7" drum breaks vinyl (Analog Burners + When Crates Create), He was a participant at the 2008 Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona.
