Dan Riley

Dan Riley

Dan Riley didn’t find music until his sophomore year of high school when he picked up his first upright bass, starting his meandering musical journey through every genre. A longtime sideman, Dan played bass for the likes of Slick Rick, Shaquille O’Neal, and many other artists who are also fantastic at basketball. On his newly released self-titled debut EP Dan Riley, Dan shows off his ability as a lyricist, composer, and performer by fronting his own band. Mr. Riley sings with honest vocals over lush chordal harmony on top of some tight grooves, building layers of warm gooey organic musical tastiness for your ear-holes. Dan's music has been compared to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Wilco, Van Morrison, and of course, Celine Dion. Based in Los Angeles, Dan and the band are super stoked to play the 18th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival in their own backyard!
